2 years ago when I became pregnant I decided I needed a bigger car, I had a
Alero which had been through the mill and then some. I set out on a quest to purchase a used larger car, with gas prices on the rise my dream truck the
Escalade was not an option. I contemplated on a mini van but I just was not ready to become "The soccer mom", even though I had a teen who played soccer, even though the mini van had everything I was looking for in regards to space, easy access, and trunk room I still was not willing to budge. So finally after several weeks I saw the Chrysler
Pacifica and fell in love, this one was fully loaded, nice color, roomy and the price was right. So needless to say I purchased it and it only took me 3 months to realize I would
HATE it. Don't get me wrong it drives great, has more room than the
Alero because of the 3rd row seating. My problem with the car is the trunk room, it's
horrible I had to downsize my toddlers stroller because her old one would not fit without putting down the 3rd row seat. If I go on vacation with the children that is in driving distance, well I better hope they don't want to bring any girlfriends because I'm sorry guys but there simply just isn't any room for luggage and extra people. So if your looking into purchasing this vehicle I would suggest you consider all aspects of your life. If you have more than 2 children and need a lot of trunk room this car may not be the one for you. Do your shopping and always remember to role play your life when making a decision on a car. As for me I'm looking into another Vehicle, I haven't decided which one As of yet but I will tell you this trunk space is right up there on the list next to safety ;-)
SO I'm rating the Chrysler
Pacifica as
NOT
